About Us

There is so much help needed by our less fortunate youths and families in Vietnam.  In order to serve these needs, a few lay persons, in partnership with the religious sisters of the Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross of the Diocese of Phan Thiet in Vietnam, established Be His Helper in August of 2022 in the County of Santa Clara, California, USA.  Be His Helper enables reaching out to donors and patrons internationally.

Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross of the Diocese of Phan Thiet, Vietnam

The Congregation is a primary partner of Be His Helper, offering advice, support, and resources.  The Congregation is also one of the recipients of the funds raised through Be His Helper

The Congregation was established in 1983 in the Southeast Region of Vietnam.  Today, the Congregation has 26 novices and over 500 sisters globally.  In Vietnam, the sisters serve 72 communities found primarily in the Diocese of Phan Thiet and in various adjacent dioceses in Saigon, Phu Cuong, Xuan Loc, Da Lat, Kontum, Ban Me Thuot, and others. Overseas, the Congregation has 5 communities in Italy and 1 in the U.S.

Please consider browsing through our catalogue of sample products! These products make great gifts and are all handmade by those we serve.

100% of net proceeds (after shipping and raw material costs and tax withholdings) goes directly towards the four ministries:  Charity, Education, Medical, and Community Support.

Be His Helper is administered by Volunteers and Sisters of the Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross of the Diocese of Phan Thiet.  As such, there is never any expenses related to salary.  The sisters and volunteers donate their time, talent, and treasures.  However, through the Community Support ministry, the deaf and mute youths in Vietnam who we serve, and their parents, are often times paid a salary.  Whenever possible, we try to provide a means for our less fortunate brothers and sisters to have work to earn a regular income.

Please note that at this time, we do not yet have a 501(c)(3) status. For this reason, your donations are not tax deductible.  We are working on obtaining this status and hope to have it by early 2024.

We thank you for your generosity and also ask for your prayers that we are able to continue to offer these services to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Send us a message
and we’ll get back to you shortly.

Thank you!
