On August 10th, 2024, Be His Helper's Bay Area community came together at St. John Vianney Church to enjoy a night of entertainment, food, and fundraising.
From an amazing community effort, we were able to raise $57,610. Expenses came at $8,796, for a net total of $48,814 out of a $60,000 goal. The expenses cover the church hall rental, decorations, table and chair covers, costs for the food, and other miscellaneous items.
We are continuing our local raising efforts and have not yet distributed the money. The projected distribution is as follows:
$20,000-$25,000 to open a snack shop in Vietnam to provide a source of income.
$25,000 to provide 167 students with $150 scholarships per year.
$15,000 to purchase and raise 100 doves as a source of livestock.
We greatly thank the Reverend Fathers for allowing us to use the church hall, the organizers, those who made this event possible, and all those in attendance! You are the foundation of our organization and have made an immensely generous impact to those whom we serve in Vietnam.
