On May 7, 2023, we will be hosting a Charity Dinner from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We will be raising funds to assist deaf and mute youths in Vietnam, their families, and the surrounding community.

In Vietnam, it is difficult or nearly impossible for the disabled to find jobs, even though they are very capable of working. During a visit by Bishop Hung to the pilgrimage center of Our Lady of Ta Pao, Bishop Hung asked these disabled youths, "What are your dreams for your future?" Without any hesitation, they immediately responded, "We dream of having jobs in the future."

The purpose of this Charity Dinner is to raise enough funds to set up coffee and tea shops in four locations, together with the purchase of several delivery vehicles. The four locations include: Long Thuan, Ta Pao, Tan Lap, and Phan Thiet. The estimated cost for each location is approximately $5K USD, for a total of $20K USD. Additionally, there is a plan to set up one bread bakery in Dong Ha, for an estimated cost of $22K USD. These four shops and bakery will be staffed by the deaf and mute youths, together with their parents and the Sisters. The total goal is therefore $42K USD.

There are many fun activities planned for the Charity Dinner, including entertainment with live music and dancing, auctions, slide shows, and of course, great food and company.
